The post discusses the author's bullish long-term view on Microsoft (MSFT) but expresses hesitation about the short-term entry point for a call option trade.
The author compares MSFT's current situation to Google's (GOOGL) historical performance, where it continued to rise despite "overvalued" labels, but is wary of a potential pullback similar to the 2022 market drop.

I’ve been watching MSFT pretty closely lately. It reminds me a bit of how people kept calling GOOGL “overvalued” for years while it just kept grinding up. Microsoft feels like it might be in a similar phase where the long-term story is still strong, even if the short-term looks a little stretched.
Valuation-wise it’s not as wild as some of the high-multiple names out there, but I’m still hesitant to jump straight into calls. The drop in 2022 is stuck in my head and makes me nervous about buying right before another pullback. I’m bullish on the fundamentals long term, just not sure whether now is the best entry or if it makes more sense to wait for a cleaner setup.
