I’m a new sixth grade inclusion special education teacher second week on the job. Some of my students are on a first grade level and I was given no materials to work with other than their sixth grade curriculum which they can not do and told to modify it. I need to build foundations. I need materials. I wasn’t even given a desk. I have a kidney table ands folder of ieps, that’s it.
