AI Summary
Summary
The author observes a market downturn, particularly among large-cap stocks, which news outlets attribute to concerns about AI.
The author disagrees with the market's negative sentiment, arguing from personal experience as a consultant that AI adoption is accelerating rapidly and is in its early stages, similar to the internet boom.
The author's thesis is that current market fears are overblown and that upcoming earnings seasons will reveal strong revenue and adoption metrics, proving AI's long-term value and potential.
Quality assessment: This is speculation based on anecdotal evidence and personal opinion. It is not well-researched due diligence (DD) as it lacks specific data, financial metrics, or company-level analysis.

After a long weekend, the market re-opens trending downwards. If the top 50 by MC the majority are in the red.
All major news outlets like Bloomberg and FT point to continued concerns about AI.
I honestly don’t see it, I work as a consultant and the last few months AI adoption is ramping up far more than any other time with Claude, Replit and many other AI agents, with hiring on freeze whereas a couple of years ago it was just ChatGPT used to write emails.
Sure I get the concern, but as a middle aged man I have never seen this level of adoption of a new tech since the early days of internet and PC home ownership.
Once another season of earnings comes everyone will call as revenues and adoption will show that AI is here to stay and we are at the very early stages of something very big.
Rant over.
