What's the general consensus for our upcoming earnings call? I've been in and out of Nvidia since 2020 → mostly in until getting force liquidated \~ April 7th, 2025. Over leveraging politics aside, I've noticed in the last 6 months, despite the swings, I've gained a whopping $1.19 per shares on my shares. Before every long and NVDA 4 comes on here to shit on my post, yes NVDA is the best company, yes Jensen Huang is a goat, there would be no Jesus without NVDA, NVDA is the God of all companies, whatever. I've rode the waves and held through the November 2021 → February 2023 chapter (if you call yourself and Nvidia "bull" and don't know what I'm talking about, you have no place to comment here, I've gotten my entire family to invest, I had 1,200 shares back in 2022 → 600 shares in 2023 → 4,200 shares in 2024 → 3,800 shares in 2025 - could have made a few million but made just under. And yes, I know plenty of you are millionaires now and I'm sure many of you have comments about my offloading of shares since my initial 1,200 share count back in 2022.
All of that being said, it's getting to a point where the stock is starting to feel like deadweight. We continue to deal with regulatory hurdles and supply chain bottlenecks, and whatever else comes up that we use as excuses to rationalize the fact that the stock isn't moving. And before some dipshit comments "then why don't you sell?" ... as bright as you think you are thinking that your permission is the first time the thought has crossed my mind, I'm calling it out right now so you don't have to.
So... getting to the my question:
What is everyone's thoughts on immediate, short and medium term for the price action?
Notice how I didn't say longterm? Because we all know it's going to be a million dollars and keep growing to a hundred trillion dollar company.
What's everyone doing? This is a temperature check. All jokes aside, if we hit $250 near term, why not sell and rebuy lower? I'm sure you remember the rut we were in when we got stuck in the $1,200-140's range.
Now, if you have shares under $40+/-I understand holding.
I also understand tax implications depending on your share count. But for those who don't have trophy prices or those who do + more (because I'd imagine you'd have kept buying), what's the case to hold anything longterm anymore? Especially Mag-7.
META another perfect example, $728 → $782 Feb-Aug 2025, $750 → $580 November 2025, $600 → $738 Jan
2026, $639.20 Feb 13, 2026.?? And yes, for anyone commenting how they have shares from 3.5 years ago at $90 per share; first of all, don't forget it was $376 in Sept 2021 and second, times changes, trends change, people change, strategies change.
So three part question:
1. What are your predictions for upcoming earnings/price action on shares pre and post?
2. Are you planning on holding if it crushes and flies?
3. Why or why not?
