I was scrolling through some small caps ETFs and doing some research and I came across this company. I don't know anything about this company and I have yet to see it mentioned in this sub despite it seeming like a classic "value play". To be fair, I wouldn't buy it today but after earnings and the price stabilizes a bit it looks like a solid value play.
Vontier (VNT): A Value Play Hiding in Plain Sight?
* **Forward P/E:** 11.3x
* **EV/EBITDA:** 10.4x
* **Institutional Ownership:** 99.4%
* **ROE:** 35.6%
Vontier generated over $414 million in free cash flow over the last twelve months. Since these multiples look low for a company with such high institutional concentration, does anyone have more insight into why this doesn't come up more often in value investing discussions?
What do you guys think? Is there anyone with some actual intimate knowledge of this company? And what do they think about its future?
