My view is that AI will be an industrial revolution and future generations will regard it as an indispensable technology, but practically speaking I think AI models will get cheaper and cheaper over time and as a result the major AI producers won't get much margin expansion out of it.
So I'm optimistic about the technology itself, but I'm pessimistic about the return on investment.
Anyways, we've seen a lot of drawdowns recently in big tech, mostly due to the CapEx and questions concerning circular financing (especially related to OpenAI). Was this the "AI bubble" people were talking about? Did it just pop? Was that it?
Is the AI bubble fear gone now at these valuations?
