I've always held only 1 ETFs - SP 500, buy & forget scenario, but I'd like to diversify a little bit. Truth be told - I'm too dumb for investing in single companies, because there's just too much info to keep up with, so I decided a good approach would be to buy some more ETFs but divided into sectors.
**We have our standard bubble that has been sitting for a few years now:**
\- AI
\- Cybersecurity
\- National defense, specifically EU, but now with the recent events in Venezuela, maybe non-EU too?
\- Rare metals (currently near ATH so my safe ass will skip these)
I'm aiming at sectors that are most likely to grow over 2026, possibly 2-3 years from now, sort of "safest option". Although AI chips haven't been growing very good for the past year with nvidia downfall -> they're making it back tho, slowly.
So a few questions from me what would be:
1. Do you think these sectors are a good direction for 2026? Yes/No/Why
2. Do you have any other sectors that you think are worth tackling on the same level? Not looking for hidden gems, rather the safest options
3. Most important out of all - what ETFs would you recommend for each sector? - whether it's the ones I listed or you've listed. As I've said I don't want to put all eggs in 1 basket so I'd feel a bit safer by staying with ETFs - and keep up only with how the sector is doing, and not a specific company.
I was also thinking of creating a pie made out of purely dividend stocks, but to not lie I'm too dumb to even know the impact of dividends on stock prices, so I gotta read on that a bit more. <--but if you have any advice or recommendations what stocks would be suited for this -let me know :D
Thanks in advance for everyone commenting
