I'm tracking a sudden jump in oil prices, from \~ $63.5 at 12:25 EDT to \~ $65.5 at 12:40 EDT. Any color on what's going on? I imagine it's related to recent US-Iran tension, but I haven't found any definitive information on major news channels. It looks like there was a crude oil drawdown in the US based on the latest EIA weekly petroleum status report, but it doesn't seem to justify such a price bump.
