Would the stocks crash if gold and silver raise too much?

I'm trying to understand if the stocks crash if gold and silver raise too much? The logic could be higher price for gold can cause more inflation without any job creation which leads to slow downturn and eventually if this slowness continues too much it can create the fear of gold going higher and more people converting to gold, leading to a vicious cycle until crash for gold but hard to time it. What's your thoughts based on research?
