ETF Allocation Roadmap & Stop Asking for Advice for All VOO portfolio

Tired if seeing ‘RaTe My PoRtFoLiO’ and it’s something like: 50% VOO 30%QQQM 10%VT 10%VXUS Or 25% QQQM 25% IWF 20%VOO 10% SMH 10% SMHX 10%VXUS Or some other such. Here is an easy roadmap—and you can check my comments since I’ve been on reddit I’ve advocated more alts (liquid or precious metals, crypto, etc), more international, some value, overall increasing diversification. 1) if you have all equities look for other high volatility assets like commodities, managed futures, gold/precious metals, crypto. They have positive expected returns, lower correlations to equities, and the addition will improve your portfolio volatility without necessarily sacrificing returns 2) if less than 20% of your equity allocation is invested in international equities add more. Sometimes the USA isn’t number one 3) if all you have is tech/growth, look at value. Sometimes value does well and when it does, it violently and quickly does well. I’ve found success going long value and long momentum. They tend to be lowly or negatively correlated (depending on how you define those factors) and have positive returns. 4) Mid-caps/Small-caps having some doesn’t hurt and eventually the Mag 7 will not lead markets and these less loved areas will do well 5) dividends/income: unless you need it or are in a qualified account you’re creating a taxable event every year and potentially sacrificing returns. I don’t hate dividends but unless all the distribution is classified return of capital you’re paying taxes and if you’re just reinvesting it back into the ETF then you’re creating a taxable event for no reason. If you’re fine with periodic distributions in case you need it. Go for it. I get maybe 1.3% in dividends so I’m not perfectly efficient either. 6) leverage: it can be your friend but it can bite you in the ass. 2-3x daily levered ETFs will have significant volatility decay/drag so you’re really maybe only getting 1.4-1.6x and 2.1-2.3x daily returns from the funds. I like the Return Stacker ETFs they give beta + liquid alt exposure. Like S&P 500, gold, and bitcoin? Look at RSSX. Others I like are RSST, RSBA, and RSSB. 7) speculation: it’s fun. Carve out like 10% of your portfolio to invest in moonshots. Keep the rest in a mindfully constructed portfolio that you regularly rebalance. Hope it helps fellow regards!
