Posted on behalf of Ridgeline Minerals Corp. - (TSXV: RDG | OTCQB: RDGMF) has appointed Ryan Walchuck as an independent director, adding senior-tier mining finance and joint-venture expertise at a pivotal stage in the company’s growth.
Walchuck is a senior mining finance executive currently with Rio Tinto, with prior experience at BHP and involvement in globally significant projects including Simandou and Oyu Tolgoi. His background in capital allocation, JV governance, and value optimization across multiple jurisdictions brings institutional-grade oversight to Ridgeline’s board as its portfolio matures.
The appointment comes as Ridgeline advances two high-impact discoveries, with momentum building at Selena (Nevada) in particular.
Selena Project – CRD discovery highlights
\- Discovery hole SE25-053 intersected three stacked CRD horizons totaling 27.2 m of mineralization
\- Lower sulfide horizon: 8.7 m @ 175.5 g/t AgEq (7.3% ZnEq), \~94 m below the initial discovery
Standout intervals include:
\- 1.1 m @ 766 g/t AgEq (31.9% ZnEq)
\- 17.4 m @ 219.9 g/t AgEq (9.2% ZnEq)
\- Individual samples up to 27% Zn and 379 g/t Ag, supporting a multi-phase CRD system with significant growth potential
Follow-up drilling (SE25-054) is underway, targeting a \~700 m step-out along the same kilometer-scale MT conductive trend, with assays expected in 2026.
With board-level expertise scaling alongside a genuine CRD discovery, Ridgeline continues to align technical momentum with disciplined governance—a combination increasingly valued by the market.
