PetVivo Holdings announced today that Health Canada has formally acknowledged its flagship product, Spryng®, as a veterinary medical device. This regulatory milestone is a major step in the company's global commercialization strategy.
Spryng is an intra-articular injectable device designed to aid in the management of lameness and joint-related issues in companion animals and equines. The acknowledgment from the international health authority validates the company's scientific and regulatory approach.
"Receiving this acknowledgment is an important endorsement of our strategy," said John Lai, CEO of PetVivo. "It reflects our commitment to expanding access to innovative solutions for animal health and mobility."
While this is a significant achievement, the product is not immediately available in Canada. The company anticipates potential commercial availability there in the second quarter of 2026, pending final operational requirements. Spryng is already commercially available in the United States.
