Legitimately did not believe I'd recover this nasty 43k loss. It all started with AMD (go figure). Then was on the path to recovery with GLD and SLV options. Then got cocky with that dumb pump and dump in October that shall not be named. Then I thought META 700 calls expiring January was the move after earnings.
Started losing hope then decided to get into SLV leaps around Christmas as a last ditch effort. Lo and behold... It worked out.
Safe to say I'm not screwing around with short dated options anymore. Still in SLV 2027 leaps.. Trimmed my position by half now and will let the rest ride.
Ain't no crying in the casino.
