As someone who lives in the Midwest and experiencing Polar Vortex weather compared to a miler winter last year, I figured I look into snow season stocks. Here were some players I thought about that would do well and they have been doing well upon first glance!
Douglas Dynamics (PLOW): Manufacturer of snowplows YTD 13.80%
Toro Company (TTC): Snowblowers YTD 13.64%
Compass Minerals (CMP): Salt play, gotta salt the interstate highways right ? YTD 24.61%
BRP (DOO): Snowmobiles YTD 14.10%
Polaris (PII): Snowmobiles YTD 8.14%
Illinois Tool Works (ITW): RainX - Small play in their business but I saw Walmart stocked these out front YTD 4.74%
I just did YTD most are up big if you invested when we first heard of strong upcoming winter earlier in 2025.
