Trying to reconcile yield with long-term growth

I’ve been growth-focused for years, so I’ve never really been "sold" on dividends/high-yield ETFs. But I’m tempted to switch eventually. Just saw President of Harvest ETFs will do an AMA on Blossom next week that I’m hoping helps clarify some of that lol If you were in the same situation as me, I’m curious to know what prompted you to switch from growth to high yield. What was the most appealing aspect? Thanks!!
