I recently have been doing research on buying individual stocks. I’d like to get into the game and had my eye set on Microsoft. I wanted to start with a blue chip stock that I trust to get my feet wet with investing and then get into lesser known stocks the more I learn. With Trump announcing tariffs Monday I knew the market would drop based off past trends. Obviously it did drop and Microsoft dropped to around $445-$450 a share. My gut said to buy in that range but I got greedy hoping it would drop more as MSFT had a rough 6 months. Of course tariffs get called off and Microsoft ends the week at $468. I’ve been beating myself up for not buying then. Has this happened to anyone else? I’m really down on myself for not trusting my gut. Should I just buy Monday and forget it? I know time in the market beats timing the market, but it’s still emotional wanting a better price point
