I mainly trade intraday (index + liquid stocks), and I’ve noticed a pattern in my own behavior:
On slow or choppy days, I end up taking trades that don’t fully meet my setup — and that’s where most losses come from.
The funny part is, on clean momentum days, I trade less and do better.
Trying to work on:
* Sitting out when price action is unclear
* Taking fewer but higher-conviction trades
* Accepting that **no trade is also a position**
Curious how others here deal with overtrading or FOMO during market hours.
Any practical rules that helped you?
