I’m 17 years old and expect to receive some money from a will at different points in my life. At 18, I’ll receive around $30,000, and at 25, I’ll receive over $100,000. I’ve recently become very interested in stocks and investing, and I’ve been learning through paper trading. About a month ago, I opened a paper trading account with $100,000, and it’s now sitting at roughly $143,000. I understand that some of this growth comes from favorable market conditions and luck, but I also think part of what I’m doing is working. I’m eager to keep learning and improve my understanding of how the stock market and trading work. I’d really appreciate any tips, as well as recommendations for books, videos, or other resources that could help me build a stronger foundation in investing, Im aware im not gonna get rich overnight but with this favorable amount of money im going to get I know that im starting ahead than most people are so I would like to take advantage of this, thank you.
