I have an opportunity to put it all in one place- very low fees, self managed but I am terrified to manage it all by myself. So many people say just do XEQT and chill. I am 63, retired. Taking a good chunk out of riff every year to deaccumulate as my husbands portfolio is the same size and I have to manage it too.
I have done very well with self managed portfolio eg. Non-reg 29% in last year. 5 year is 52%, TFSA all time 90% (had to use the funds a few times.) in those accts I have some individual stocks and some ETF’s but with this $ (riff)would like it all in ETF’s so it’s easy - would anyone do Norbert’s gamut with this type of $?
For the $875k I currently have 3 years of a cash wedge and remainder primarily in us index funds but I would have to sell it all off to move the funds - would anyone do a Norbert’s gamut with this ?
Open to suggestions!
