Hi everyone,
I plan to start investing €400–500 per month on a long-term basis, starting now and continuing from February 2026 onward.
I am still young and want to start as early as possible. My main goal is long-term growth. I understand that higher expected returns usually come with higher volatility, which I am fine with given my time horizon.
I have done some basic research but I am unsure which setup makes the most sense in practice. These are the options I am currently considering:
1. 100% Vanguard FTSE All-World
2. 70% MSCI World + 30% MSCI Emerging
Markets
3. Vanguard FTSE All-World + S&P 500
4. Vanguard FTSE All-World + Nasdaq 100
For options 3 and 4, I am especially unsure about the percentage split and whether I would just be overweighting the US too much without a real benefit.
If you were in my position, which option would you choose and why?
If you prefer a combination, what percentage allocation would you recommend?
I appreciate any input, especially critical perspectives or things I might be overlooking.
