So about a year ago, someone posted a trade the Pelosi had made with Google:

I often see these US politician trades on here and wondered what if I, a poor, had made that trade? What would I see?
Well the reminder bot helped me out here a lot and I kept updating my original comment and just thought I'd share with others;
If I bought the day of the trade, each call would be 46.40 or $232,000. Let's see what happens to these calls over time since I dont have the capital to actually do this trade.
1 month in - drump has shat on the economy; each call is worth 30.70 or $153,500.
3 months in - more of the same, clementine is an idiot; each call is worth \~27.10 or $135,500.
6 months in - well well, well.. each call is worth 60.25 or $301,250; that is a profit of (13.85 x 100) x 50 = 69,250 or a 29.8% return.
1 year - I don't recall which of the expirations I was looking at Jan 23 or Jan 30, but it honestly doesnt matter.. Each call is now worth 178.30 at the lower end. How much profit is that? 131.9 x 50 = 659,500. That is 2.8x what you would have put in.
Considering that you needed to have a substantial amount to begin with, this may not seem like all that much with all the other shit people manage to accomplish, but 280% in a year is kind of crazy.
Also, the only thing that one would have to keep in mind is the likelyhood of someone actually buying those calls, especially so close to expiration. Probably wouldn't happen. But if you had the funds or margin to buy those 50 calls at 150, $750,000, you could immediately sell them for 329 each and make $4,932,000.
