So this question spurred my mind from the thread here,

Seems like the overwhelming opinion is that no country that has put their gold in USA is getting their gold back.
So what about treasury bonds? Will US give the money back?
What about any other investment? Will US confiscate foreign assets too?
Or gold is unique in this case? Thoughts?
