Hey everyone,
I've recently started exploring momentum-based investing strategies as an alternative to the classic buy-and-hold S&P 500 approach. Specifically, I've been looking into:
* **GEM (Global Equities Momentum)** \- the dual momentum strategy
* **HAA (Hybrid Asset Allocation)** \- tactical allocation with momentum signals
I'm curious if anyone here is actually using these strategies in their portfolio? If so:
* How's your experience been so far?
* Are you using them as a complement to passive indexing or as your primary strategy?
* Any challenges with implementation or rebalancing?
Also, are there other momentum or tactical strategies you'd recommend looking into? I'm trying to understand what's actually practical for individual investors vs. what just looks good on paper.
Would love to hear from anyone who's moved beyond traditional buy-and-hold or is considering it.
Thanks!
