Hi fellow redditors! I'm a long-time boglehead follower. I park my investment in a few different places, including banks that I have my checking/savings accounts and credit cards with to reach the balance requirement to get perks from these banks.
One thing that annoyed me was that every time I log in to my bank websites to do other stuff (e.g. checking my credit card balance), I would inevitably see my investment balance. I really didn't like that because my mood gets affected when I see the market swings, and sometimes I take irrational actions as a result.
For my own peace of mind, I built myself a little tool that redacts the investment account balance numbers on my bank websites. It's a **free & completely local** Chrome/Firefox browser extension. I hope you might also find it helpful for your own peace of mind:
