ABLE accounts? Anyone familiar?

Hi! My son qualifies for an ABLE account because he gets SSDI because he has a feeding tube. Eventually he will get the feeding tube removed and will no longer get SSDI, what will happen to his ABLE account? Will I have to close it? Also, would an ABLE account be more beneficial than a 529 since it can be spent on more things Thank you!
