Hey everyone,
I just stumbled upon something that might be worth keeping an eye on, and I wanted to get some thoughts from the community before I dive in. So, Don Durett, I’m sure a lot of you know him if you’re into metals and mining stocks, he’s got a massive following on X (formerly Twitter) for his insights on the industry. The guy’s been around forever, analyzing gold, silver, and all sorts of resource plays, and people really listen when he talks.
Anyway, he dropped a new interview on YouTube just a little while ago about Angkor Resources Corp (ticker: ANK.V or something like that? Correct me if I’m wrong). It’s basically him breaking down their operations, potential in gold exploration in Cambodia, and why he thinks it’s undervalued right now. The video’s fresh, posted super recently, but it hasn’t blown up yet. Views are still pretty low, and I’m wondering if that’s because X was having those outages earlier? You know how algorithms work; if it’s not getting shared there, it might fly under the radar for a bit.
What got me interested is Don’s track record. He’s not some random pump-and-dumper; his calls have moved markets before. When his episodes are released, they often directly affect the stock prices of the companies he covers. Just yesterday, he hyped another mining stock (I won’t name it to avoid derailing, but you can probably find it if you check his feed), and bam, it shot up more than 40% in a single day. Insane volume, too. So, when he puts out positive vibes on something like Angkor, it makes you pause and think, “Is this the next one?”
I’m not here to shill or anything, genuinely looking for advice. Is Angkor Resources worth a shot? Anyone dug into their financials, drill results, or management? Pros: Seems like they’re in a hot area for gold, low market cap so upside potential if things pan out. Cons: Exploration stage, so risky as hell, political stuff in Cambodia, and metals prices are volatile AF right now with all the global uncertainty.
