I’m in the military and I can contribute a percentage amount to my Roth TSP. I’m not sure if I’m staying in for a while but I can invest more than the $7,500/year limit as opposed to if I wasn’t in the military.
Can I invest a lot now and just roll it over into a traditional Roth TSP with a brokerage if I decide to leave the military? The only downside is I can’t see exactly where my contributions would be going to.
Not sure if I’m understanding this correctly but I basically want to invest more into my Roth IRA now while I’m in service and roll it over later. Is this possible?
