I’m learning the physical fuel trading space and currently working strictly as an intermediary/facilitator (not selling fuel directly).
I understand serious buyers don’t transact publicly, so I’m trying to better understand where legitimate procurement teams source suppliers or intermediaries.
For those in logistics, energy, or supply chain roles:
Where do fuel buyers usually operate from?
Is procurement typically handled internally, via trading houses, or mandates?
Any advice on avoiding broker chains and finding real demand?
Not soliciting deals — just trying to learn the correct channels.
