Hi All - been reading a bit on here and want to clarify my understanding of something because what my assumptions were seem to be wrong.
If my goal is to invest $10,000/year into my brokerage account and my dividends pay let say $3,000 annually and I have then set to re-invest. My assumption was then I would just need to invest $7,000 more to hit my annual goal. Is that not correct? Do dividends work differently?
