idk if i’ll keep this post up, just feeling weirdly philosophical looking at my account balance tonight.
basically spent 3 years getting crushed. read all the books, drew the fib levels, watched the macro news. net result: -$15k. i was trying to play a fair game in a casino where the house has rigged the decks.
things only changed when i stopped trying to "predict" the chart and started tracking private order flow instead. i got access to a specific data feed,it’s not news, it’s not patterns. it’s basically tracking specific capital injections that happen before the public finds out.
the catch is that it’s boring as hell. i literally sit on my hands for weeks. i don't "day trade" anymore. i just wait.
but when the ping comes, the move is usually violent.
i’m hesitant to blast the specific setup or the data source here because i’ve seen what happens when reddit hugs a strategy to death. once the algo bots scrape it, the edge is gone.
that said, i'm getting kind of lonely trading in a silo. i’m open to discussing the strategy or comparing notes privately with people who are actually serious. just don't want to broadcast the specifics on the public feed for obvious reasons.
