Ontario and Ottawa have been making big moves in procurement.
A significant loophole is being jammed shut reintroducing billions of dollars into Canada's SMEs. The hottest trend in MASH spending has been bypassing the CFTA until now and advantaging US suppliers. Unsurprisingly that door is being slammed shut with gusto.
I haven't read much about it here but the proposed drop from 25m to 5m to protect contracts from under bidding and legitimizing spending more for a Canadian product (illegal before, I know, crazy) is a big opportunity.
What Canadian SMEs are people tracking who's contracts fall into that sweet spot? I'm almost sick of reading it as a small shareholder but this is good news for PNG that I doubt the market has properly absorbed yet.
Bonus points if the product or service can be considered a national priority. medical, it, defense, construction, critical mineral (don't flood this with mines please, a company who sells equipment to mines is more appropriate IMO)
