Lately I feel retail investors should consider pausing or slowing their SIPs until the market shows clearer signs of a bullish trend, instead of blindly investing every month. I get the argument that timing the market is hard and I agree, but when FIIs are consistently selling and valuations still look stretched, putting fresh money in right now doesn’t feel very rewarding. The risk reward looks skewed, at least in the short to medium term.
At the end of the day, it’s your money, you should decide what works for you or consult a financial advisor. This is just how I see it, and I’m happy to hear other views.
