It was a bit of an unfortunate side effect which resulted in me owning some stock in WDSSF. I don’t fully understand what exactly it is but what I know is that it is only tradable in an OTC market.
How did I end up in this situation? Well, I transferred my account with a German broker to questrade when moving to Canada a while ago. In Germany the security is A2AGPV and is just a standard ETF. I did not realize that questrade would turn this into WDSSF. Otherwise I would have excluded this security from being transferred.
However, it is what it is and now I’ve been trying to sell my shares but non of my orders ever get picked up. Does anybody have some advice? I guess I could keep lowering my price. Or should I try to return it to a German account?
