Market don't care about morality. Don't care about ethics. It only cares about making money.
The Powell investigation proves one major thing: Orange Man is trying to end Fed independence and put in a yes-man who will do what he says.
Orange Man has repeatedly said he wants interest rates cut way down, and given this investigation, anyone succeeding JPow when his term ends in March is being told to 'fall in line or face the consequences'.
As a result, markets are predicting more rate cuts than previously expected. And what are rate cuts? Hella fuckin bullish that's what. Lower borrowing costs mean cheaper company growth, higher inflation, etc etc etc by now we all know the effects of rate cuts.
All that is to say, market doesn't give a fuck about anyone's feelings of right and wrong. It has no moral compass. And right now it sees rate cuts coming and money to be made and is going up accordingly.
You're never going to be on the inside. If you're not bullish right now, you're losing money.
