So I was going through the logs of my trades which I have exited. I found some stocks have gone way low post I exited, i would have been in severe loss if i hadn't sold. Some stocks increased in price as well but overall booking profit, taking stoploss has helped me remain profitable. The hope that price will increase after they go down, and greed of not exiting maximizing returns can severely hurt you. And I personally have struggled with selling well , buying I'm able to work out well now.
So traders should learn when to exit as well, and ideally before they even enter stoploss and target (till trend lasts) should be decided..
