I find Chatgpt, Gemini, etc. to be lacking in terms of generating meaningful research. While impressive in a lot of ways, I ultimately feel that it's just parroting facts at me without articulating a sophisticated investment thesis.
For example, I asked Gemini (pro mode) to give me a comprehensive rundown of JPM, and it rightly pulled it's most recent financials, commented on it's earnings report today, and listed business drivers and risks. Great, but I ultimately feel like any 4th grader can generate this level of insight.
Anyone else feel the same way? Any success stories?
