Hey All,
Im 19 and just started investing this year. I have an rothIRA and a brokerage, and I put literally all my brokerage money on Micron and got a 60% return rate in like 2 months of investing. My Roth is doing well on its own too, 13.4%. However, everyone in my periphery is talking about how insane this year has been for the market and how youd have to be mentally handicapped not to make like 13% returns- should I just remind myself constantly this is a fluke or do we think the upcoming years are going to be just as wonky with how many people are gluing in to the absurdism of the market? I have almost 0 economic knowledge as im young and haven't really known a stable market yet (covid hit first year of highschool, AI boom going into college)
