Hi everyone,
I’m 27F and pretty new to investing. I recently started with QQQ and am currently contributing $100/month (planning to increase this over the next few months as my budget allows).
I’m investing for the long term and trying to keep things simple while I learn. Right now, my portfolio is basically just QQQ, so I know I’m pretty tech-heavy and not very diversified.
Over the next 6 months, what would you recommend adding to balance things out?
Some things I’m curious about:
* International exposure
* Bonds or dividend ETFs at my age (or too early?)
* Canada-specific ETFs (I’m based in Canada)
I’m not trying to time the market, just consistent contributions and learning good habits early.
Would really appreciate hearing what others did when they were starting out, or what you’d suggest differently now. Thanks!
