Hello Bogleheads! I’m new to taking charge of my own investments/ finances and have been reading just about every post that pops up in this subreddit. I have also just finished reading my first ever financial book IWTYTBR. I am a 28M and have just about $30k in a Roth IRA with Edwards Jones. I am looking to transfer that Roth to my Vanguard account and open a Roth with Vanguard. I currently have a brokerage account with vanguard where I just put in $500 to dip my toes in the water and used 50% for VOO and 50% VT. Went with those since it seemed the most common here.
I’m looking for advice on how to allocate that $30k. I’m thinking 40% VOO, 30% VT, and 30% VDIGX.
Anything y’all would change or do differently? Just desperate to get out of EJ especially since learning what that 1.3% fee actually adds up to.
TIA!
