Hi everyone, I was acting dumb last week (like usual in this sub) and it made me lose 12% in normals stocks (not even options) in 3 days, which is pretty bad while the market is up for days and I've been investing in ETFs mostly.
I'm EU based so I woke up last Monday at 7:30 to sell my NVDA shares and buy CVX. It was around 170 when I woke up (+8%) and I bought, and it went up to 172 in the meanwhile, thinking it would increase more when the US markets are open. Went back to sleep. Then the US markets were opened, it went absolute bloodbath. Cashed out at 163.5 to prevent further loss thankfully. Then bought back my NVDA shares again immediately at 195 (I have no idea how I managed to buy at the peakest peak). Now NVDA is at 182.
Long story short, don't do stupid FOMO trading. Lost around one month of net salary for no reason, thinking I was being smart lol.
I will start "VOO and chill"'ing again.
