Selling Copper Cathode (99.9% Purity) to North America Region

Hi, I represent a legitimate copper mining company based out of DR Congo which is looking to sell copper at an attractive price (LME - 16%+) in North America. I am based out of USA. I have contacted some end consumer of copper in USA and at first, they were interested in purchasing the copper but later backed out after knowing the source of copper (DR Congo). Does USA buyers do not import copper from DR Congo at all? I am looking for suggestions on how to penetrate the US market for copper. We work on SBLC/DLC as payment form and can use US bank for payment and delivery. We can also increase the discount further in order to secure order from USA.
