Note: Sorry about the @ symbols, but I think this sub needs to seriously change the criteria behind removing certain questions with the big "T" word in it, because this ain't really going THAT deep into the "T" topic. Anyways...
I was thinking of adding VYMI to my VOO & SCHG setup in a t@xable brokerage account at Fidelity. I never held international funds before, i was wondering if they make t@xes complicated when it comes to t@x filing time? Like if there's additional form(s) to fill out or anything since it's international?
Also, on somewhat related note... I couldn't help but notice that VT alone returned more than VYMI in the last 10 years, according to [https://totalrealreturns.com/n/VT,VYMI?start=2016-01-01](https://totalrealreturns.com/n/VT,VYMI?start=2016-01-01) and that's with all dividends reinvested
But at the same time I hear many on here talking about VYMI is an awesome dividend fund to have. So, i'm just trying to wrap my head around this. Am i missing something?
If that's the case, Is it better if I just do like 60% VT and 40% SCHG in a t@xable account?
