Author reflects on trading Micron and Nvidia and now plans a tech-averse portfolio, viewing Micron as cyclical and unattractive at AI-driven peak risk.
MU — AVOID The author views Micron as the only tech stock he would consider valid, but he avoids it because the AI-driven memory upcycle is cyclical. When the AI data center building phase ends, RAM prices will no longer be justified and the race-driven demand will fade. He sees risk as very high relative to a maximum further 20–50% upside with very small probability.
The only valid stock for me in tech is Micron. However it is also cyclical driven when the AI data centers building phase ends the RAM prices would not be justified as there is no race anymore.
