Long story short, I’m up 120K in less than one month. Its all in tax free accounts. It’s been a wild ride and it’s stressed me out immensely, to the point where I’ve had panic attacks and mental breakdowns. There’s no magic formula. It was just gambling with 0DTEs, mostly SPY and NVDA. Huge wins, followed by huge losses and even bigger gains to smooth it out. I probably should have lost everything.
Why did I do it? The cost of living is crushing me and I needed a quick way to make a lot of money and create a buffer. I know that going this far out on the risk curve was unacceptable. Seriously though, how do I stop? How do I convince myself that I can’t do it again? I’ve read the facts about retail traders and I know this shouldn’t have happened. Were you ever in a similar position? Blowing this money, after coming this far, would be the biggest kick in the nuts of my life.
