Hi everyone,
I’m 21 years old and planning to make my **first ETF investment**, so I wanted to get some opinions before starting.
I’m looking to invest around **$650 USD** (my local currency equivalent) using a **DCA approach**, spreading the investment over **6 to 12 months** (I’m open to suggestions on this).
My current plan is a simple:
* **70% VTI**
* **30% VXUS**
This investment is meant for the **long term (10 – 20 years)**, and I plan to **keep adding money regularly** in the future, not just this initial amount. I consider myself a **conservative investor (for now)** , and since I’m just starting out, I want to keep things simple and diversified.
Does this allocation make sense for someone my age and situation?
Would you change anything considering the time horizon or the DCA strategy?
Thanks in advance, still learning and appreciate any feedback 🙂.
