Savings around X00k, mainly from ESPP and some lucky (+unlucky) day trades (40% profit in last 3 years). Recently sold 80% of all equities (recent personal pessimism). Planning to start value investing, living in bay area, single, bare minimum expense, no upcoming major purchase. Questions:
1. Should I wait for a couple months before I get my confidence back / see how market plays out? (My inner instinct is to buy bonds and hold them for a year or two before trying to buy equities or ETFs)
2. Recommend a book/post etc where I can find step by step guide to get started or where you got started. (Have been reading "the intelligent investor" and Berkshire's letters and getting deeply influenced by it.)
