Hello!
I’ve been a full lurker around here but a lurker without a clue. My friend over lockdown told me to invest a bit into stocks with any spare cash I have and over time I’ve looked here for what could be a hit, and fallen into a few misses (here’s looking at you BYND).
My question is, what am I meant to do now…. I’m at +32% which i would consider a fairly good gain, but not with a load of cash. So do I just sit on this and let it grow over time (months, years?) or do I sell and buy into safer long termers or potential quick gains?
I have, that I consider to be good:
\- PLTR: +107%, but have I reached my potential growth?
\- NVDA: +27%, seems to change quite regularly.
\- ALRT: +176%, a random one from a friend which I put a small amount on but has done really well.
The bad:
\- MSTR: -56%, a shit show, but will this get better?
\- GEO: -65% (friend told me to do this one).
There’s a few other bad’uns but with small amounts which I’m happy to wait n see what happens.
I’m using Hargreaves Lansdown which feels like a weird option, do I stick to this or switch to something like trading121?
