If tariffs overturned tomorrow, do we rip or tank? I say rip.
A mixed ruling is likely though. Scotus probably will push refund issue back to lower court. Having to refund all that money would be disruptive certainly.
Potus, of course, will reimpose many tariffs under alternate statutes, but none allow the amount and scale IEEPA permitted him.
And, thank God, no more 3 am rage twaeets increasing rates to the moon under other statutory authority. Companies could finally have some certainty that Potus seems to enjoy denying them.
