I’ve been short (naked puts) on APPL for weeks.
It’s paid off.
Those premiums are cheap compared to other MAG7’s because it doesn’t make big moves.
Implied volatility is low.
But if you look at the daily you’ll see 3-5$ price swings are common in a trading session.
It just usually ends up moving less than 1% in a day.
I’ve been keeping this to myself, but 1 month ago everyone who owned APPL was green.
Just seemed it was time to be sold.
People want to buy it but it’s too expensive.
Institutions take profits.
Some people get out.
Or they hold “it’ll come back” while institutions are buying back in at the bottom.
Then new buyers have an opportunity and the price comes trickling back.
I’m not a financial advisor and this all opinion.
I’m also holding back and watching the movement today. Maybe get back on it near eod.
OPEN has been good too.
But it’s on a rhythm you’ve got to keep time with.
