AA ETF's like XGRO automatically rebalance when a particular trigger is met. I think XGRO rebalances when any asset class is +/- 5% off target.
That got me wondering, if there is a major correction and equities quickly plunge does the AA ETF immediately rebalance every time the rebalance trigger is met or does it happen EOD or when would the rebalancing occur?
I'm guessing it's automated so would make sense that whenever the trigger is met but also seems unnecessary having the fund continually buying and selling positions during bouts of volatility.
Anyway, NBD but curious if anyone knows how it works.
